These Terms & Conditions apply to transportation services provided by Cabo Journey – Private Luxury Transportation Los Cabos.
By requesting, confirming or paying for a transportation service, the customer acknowledges and accepts the terms applicable to the reservation.
1. Private transportation
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or reservation confirmation, Cabo Journey provides private transportation services.
Vehicles are assigned according to passenger count, luggage requirements, service type, availability and operational needs.
Vehicle models may vary while maintaining an equivalent service category and passenger capacity.
2. Reservations
Reservations are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability until confirmed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information including:
- Passenger name
- Telephone or WhatsApp contact
- Pickup and destination
- Service date and time
- Flight information when applicable
- Passenger count
- Luggage requirements
- Special requests
Changes should be communicated as early as possible.
3. Rates
Rates are based on the transportation requirements confirmed at the time of quotation.
Changes involving passenger count, vehicle type, pickup location, destination, additional stops, waiting time, itinerary or service duration may result in a revised rate.
Any additional charges will be communicated whenever reasonably possible before the additional service is performed.
4. Payments
Payment terms will be specified in the quotation or reservation confirmation.
Cabo Journey may accept payment through authorized electronic payment platforms and other agreed payment methods.
A reservation may require a deposit before vehicles are secured.
Unless otherwise agreed, outstanding balances must be paid before the scheduled service.
Fees associated with a specific payment method, when applicable, will be disclosed before payment.
5. Weddings, groups and events
Wedding, group and event transportation may require a 50% deposit to secure vehicles and operational resources.
Unless otherwise stated in the proposal, the remaining balance is due before the event.
Final passenger counts, schedules and vehicle requirements should be provided as early as possible.
If the final passenger count changes, Cabo Journey may adjust the number of vehicles and the remaining balance accordingly, subject to availability.
Large events may be subject to specific cancellation, operational and payment terms stated in the proposal.
6. Cancellation policy
Unless a quotation or confirmation establishes different conditions:
Standard transportation services:
Cancellation without charge requires at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled pickup time.
Weddings, groups and events:
Cancellation requirements may be longer and generally require at least 72 hours’ notice, unless different terms are stated in the event proposal.
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to the full value of the reserved service.
Non-refundable third-party or payment-processing charges, when applicable and previously disclosed, may not be refundable.
7. Flight arrivals and flight tracking
When accurate flight information is provided, Cabo Journey may monitor commercial flight arrival times to coordinate airport pickup.
Customers should notify Cabo Journey as soon as possible regarding:
- Flight changes
- Airline changes
- Flight cancellations
- Rebooking
- Changes of airport or terminal
Cabo Journey is not responsible for inaccurate flight information supplied by the customer or booking party.
8. Grace periods
Unless otherwise agreed:
Commercial airport arrivals: up to 60 minutes after the actual flight arrival time.
Private aviation / FBO arrivals: up to 30 minutes.
Hotel, villa, restaurant, departure or point-to-point transfers: up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
After the applicable grace period, additional waiting time charges may apply and service remains subject to chauffeur and vehicle availability.
9. No-show
A passenger may be considered a no-show when the applicable grace period has expired and Cabo Journey is unable to contact or locate the passenger.
No-show services may be charged in full.
Passengers experiencing difficulty locating their chauffeur should contact Cabo Journey before leaving the pickup area or arranging alternative transportation.
10. Additional waiting time
Waiting time exceeding the included grace period may result in additional charges.
Where possible, Cabo Journey will communicate applicable charges before extending the service.
11. Additional stops
Additional or unscheduled stops are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
Where included in a quotation, courtesy stops are limited to the time specified.
A standard courtesy stop, when specifically included, may be limited to approximately 15 minutes.
Longer stops may require an additional fee.
12. Chauffeur service by the hour
Hourly chauffeur services are subject to the minimum number of hours stated in the quotation.
Service time begins and ends according to the agreed reservation schedule.
Additional time requested during service is subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability and may be billed accordingly.
13. Luggage
Passengers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding luggage volume.
Oversized luggage, sporting equipment, mobility devices or other special items should be disclosed in advance.
A larger vehicle may be required when luggage exceeds normal vehicle capacity.
14. Child seats
Child seats may be available upon advance request.
Availability and any applicable charge should be confirmed before the service.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for providing accurate information regarding the child’s age, size and seating requirements.
15. Passenger conduct
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully toward chauffeurs, personnel, vehicles and other passengers.
Cabo Journey reserves the right to terminate a service when conduct creates a safety risk, threatens personnel or property, involves illegal activity or prevents the chauffeur from operating the vehicle safely.
Termination for serious passenger misconduct may not entitle the customer to a refund.
16. Damage to vehicles
Customers may be financially responsible for extraordinary cleaning, repair or damage resulting from passenger conduct beyond normal use.
This may include damage to interiors, fixtures or equipment and excessive cleaning caused during the service.
17. Smoking
Smoking or vaping inside Cabo Journey vehicles is not permitted unless expressly authorized for a specific vehicle and service.
18. Food and beverages
Food and beverages may be subject to vehicle-specific restrictions.
Alcoholic beverages, when provided or permitted, are subject to applicable law and passenger eligibility.
Passengers remain responsible for responsible consumption and behavior.
19. Gratuity
Unless specifically included in the quotation or confirmation, chauffeur gratuity is not included.
Gratuity is voluntary and may be provided directly to the chauffeur or arranged through Cabo Journey when available.
20. Delays and circumstances beyond our control
Cabo Journey makes reasonable efforts to operate according to confirmed schedules.
However, travel times may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Traffic
- Road closures
- Accidents
- Weather
- Police or government restrictions
- Demonstrations
- Natural events
- Airport congestion
- Mechanical emergencies
- Other force majeure circumstances
Cabo Journey will make reasonable operational efforts to minimize disruption when such situations occur.
21. Pickup times for airport departures
Recommended airport pickup times are based on typical travel conditions and general airport arrival recommendations.
Ultimately, the passenger is responsible for allowing sufficient time for airline check-in, security screening, immigration procedures and other airport requirements.
22. Subcontractors and affiliated providers
Cabo Journey may occasionally use qualified affiliated or third-party transportation providers to fulfill a reservation.
When this occurs, Cabo Journey will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the assigned provider and vehicle meet the service requirements of the reservation.
23. Changes to confirmed services
Customers should request itinerary or service changes as early as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the original price.
Major changes made shortly before service cannot always be guaranteed.
24. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the applicable cancellation policy, payment method, service type and terms stated in the reservation.
Approved refunds may be returned through the original payment method when reasonably possible.
Previously disclosed non-refundable fees may be excluded from the refunded amount.
25. Service concerns
Any concern regarding a transportation service should be reported to Cabo Journey as soon as reasonably possible so that the team has an opportunity to address the situation.
Contacting Cabo Journey during the service gives us the best opportunity to provide an immediate solution.
26. Privacy
Personal information associated with reservations is handled according to the Cabo Journey Privacy Policy, available on our website.
27. Acceptance
By confirming a reservation, submitting a deposit or payment, or using Cabo Journey transportation services, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted the terms applicable to the reservation.
Specific written terms contained in an individual quotation, contract or event proposal will take precedence when they differ from these general Terms & Conditions.
